A2 Preliminary Task Evaluation
Remember, your brief was:
A short film, to last a maximum of 3 minutes, which represents an aspect of collective identity (British youth culture).
For the purpose of this preliminary video task evaluation, I would like you to answer the following questions (you can present your evaluation in whichever format you choose):
- To what extent have you adhered to the brief? Explain.
- How effective is your main product?
- How did you use media technologies in the production and post production stages? What have you learnt about these technologies and how you use them?
- What have you learnt from this preliminary video task?
A2 Advanced Portfolio Briefs
You can choose one of the following
briefs…
1.
A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music
promo video, together with two of the following three options:
·
a website homepage for the band;
·
a digipak for the album’s release;
·
a magazine advertisement for the digipak.
2.
A promotion package for a new film, to include a trailer, together with
two of the following three options:
·
a website homepage for the film;
·
a film magazine front cover, featuring the film;
·
a poster for the film.
3.
A short film in its
entirety, lasting approximately five minutes, which may be live action or animated
or a combination of both, together with two of the following three options:
·
a poster for the film;
·
a radio trailer for the film;
·
a film magazine review page featuring the film.
All material
for all tasks to be produced by the candidates with the exception of
acknowledged non-original sound or image material used in a limited way in
video/radio work. For music video, permission should be sought from the artist
for use of the audio track.
